     On August 16, 2014 the BDPS team investigated the Mayhew Home located in Morristown TN. I would like to take this moment to thank the owner of the home, for giving us permission to investigate such a beautiful home. We decided because of the size of the home that we would have one team investigating inside while one team watched the camera monitor and then each team would wait until their time for rotation. We started our investigation around 6:00 p.m. with a walking tour of the home that was given by the renter of the home. We started our set up around 7:00 p.m. We then proceeded to our investigation. Soon after we divided into teams. Team 1 consisted of me and Michele, Team 2 consisted of Robyn and Matt, Team 3 consisted of Jeff and David, and Team 4 consisted of Olivia and Aaron. Each team worked on a rotation changing their location about every 1 ½ hour. We finished our investigation around 3:00 a.m. the following morning. This was a great experience and very helpful in our constant training.

     EQUIPMENT USED AT THIS INVESTIGATION:

• (4) DVR’s (Digital Voice Recorders)

• (4) Zero Lux low lever IR (infra-red) cameras

• (1) Sony handheld camcorder

• (3) Digital cameras

• (1) Canon digital camera

• (2) K2 Meters

• (1) EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) Meter

• (1) Laser Thermometers

     We placed (1) DVR (Digital Voice Recorder) in each of the areas of the home with reports or claims of paranormal activity; including the kitchen, 1^st children’s room, 2^nd children’s room and the grandfathers bedroom. The (1) IR camera was placed in the kitchen, (1) was placed in the in the hallway, (1) was placed in the 1^st children’s bedroom and (1) was placed in the 2^nd children’s bedroom. (1) Sony handheld camcorder was carried around by Rodney. Also, each team carried along with them during their investigations one of the following: DVR (Digital Voice Recorder), K2 Meter, EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) Meter or Laser Thermometer.

Reports & Claims:

     Glass sliding across the counter top, dishes breaking. Dark entity seen in the 1^st children’s bedroom, sounds of unexplained foots steps walking across the floor, unexplained voices and in the grandfathers bedroom a lady dressed in white has been seen.

Historical information:

     We were unable to find any past historical information on the home.

Personal Experiences:

As Jeff and David started their investigation in the kitchen of the home a cabinet in the corner the shelf collapsed and all the contents fell to the floor, we determined the possible reason for this was that the weight of all the contents was the factor of the shelf collapsing. The shelf collapsing was not due to paranormal activity.   

Evidence:

Photo evidence: No photo evidence.

Video evidence: No video evidence.

Note:  BDPS does not support the idea of orbs as evidence of the paranormal because most orbs can be explained away as dust, bugs, rain, mist, fog, etc. There are cases that the orbs we photograph seem to move with some type of intelligent intent. We post these photos because we feel that there needs to be more investigation into the Orb Phenomenon and we shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss this phenomenon without further investigation and explanation. So we show these photos in an attempt to add another piece to the puzzle and leave this decision up to you to accept or dismiss orbs as evidence. It is also my opinion to show all evidence so we all can learn from what might be an area of the paranormal that may be getting over looked by researchers.

EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon)

We heard the following EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) and unexplained noises on our DVR’s (Digital Voice Recorders) & Microcassette Recorder:

1st Children’s Bedroom:

• Kitchen shelf falling

• Unexplained Female Voice (Grace Here)

• Unexplained glass clanging

• Unexplained Low Female Voice (Mommy)

• Unexplained Male Voice (Rodney did it)

• Unexplained Noise Robyn & Matt heard this

• Unexplained Noise for a second time Robyn heard this

2nd Children’s Bedroom:

• Kitchen shelf falling

• Unexplained 2 different moaning noises at the same time

• Unexplained Female Voice whispering (Nothing) while Robyn is speaking

• Unexplained Inaudible Female Voice before Robyn speaks

• Unexplained Low whisper (Help) with a K2 Hit

• Unexplained Low Moan

Grandfather's Bedroom:

• Unexplained (Huh) and Female Voice (That’s it)

• Unexplained Female Moaning

• Unexplained Inaudible

• Unexplained Low Whisper (Give me a huge)

• Unexplained Male Voice (Do it on your own)

• Unexplained Male Voice (Hey girls)

• Unexplained Male Voice (Rodney)

• Unexplained Male Voice (Shit)

• Unexplained Smack Sound

• Unexplained Sound

• Unexplained Voice (You're an ass)

• Unexplained Whispers (House) 4 different times while Michele and Olivia were speaking about the house

• Unexplained Whisper (Get a brain)

• Unexplained Whisper (House) at the same time Rodney is saying House

• Unexplained Whispering or Chanting

Kitchen:

• Unexplained breath

• Unexplained breath2

• Unexplained Female Voice (It's berries) with a giggle

• Unexplained Glass clanging or spoon in coffee cup noise

• Unexplained Hissing Noise

• Unexplained Inaudible Low Whisper

• Unexplained Low Whisper (Come back)

• Unexplained Voice (Berries)

CONCLUSION:

     We have come to the conclusion that the clients home has moderate paranormal activity in the forms of EVP’s, unexplained K-2 hits that helped us to determine our conclusion.
