On May 30, 2009 I investigated the Henderson Home located in Nashville Tennessee. I would like to take this moment to thank Ms. Henderson for contacting BDPS and giving us permission to investigate her home. I decided to investigate this home myself due to the fact that Ms. Henderson is a childhood friend and also her home is small enough that one investigator would be plenty. I started the investigation around 9:00 p.m. and finished around 12:30 a.m. along with the help of Ms. Henderson.
Equipment used at this site included (2) DVR’s, (1) Camcorder with night vision, (2) digital cameras, (1) K2 Meter, (1) EMF Meter and (1) Laser Thermometer.
Ms. Henderson had reported claims of activity in the kitchen area of the home such as light bulbs constantly blowing even after an electrician had examined the lights and determined that he could not find a problem with the lights. Ms. Henderson also reported of having feelings as someone was watching her, the dish washer turning on all by its self for no reason and the clock radio in Ms. Henderson’s room turning on and off by itself.
As we try to do in all of our investigations, we placed the DVR’s in areas that have reports of paranormal activity or areas of interest. One was placed in Ms. Henderson’s bedroom and one was placed in the dining room / living room area of the home. The night vision camcorder was placed in the kitchen area and was focused on the light fixture where she had reported the bulbs constantly blowing.
I examined the clock radio and found nothing that could explain the report of the clock turning itself on and off. I also examined the dish washer and again, found nothing that would explain it turning itself on. I focused on the light fixture in the kitchen and came to the conclusion that it’s possible that due to the neighbors that live in the apartment above, they could be causing vibrations as they walk across the floor, which would be transmitted through Ms. Henderson ceiling and this maybe causing the light bulbs to blow.
Photo evidence shows some orb activity along with one photo which shows maybe a face that appears on the side of my head in the kitchen.
We caught the following EVP’s (electronic voice phenomenon) and unexplained noises:
Girls’ voice “Hey”
Whisper “Here”
Male Voice “Hold the mic here”
Female Voice “Layla”
Male Voice “Get out”
Male Voice “Chase Us” – Female Voice “No”
I have come to the conclusion that this property has very low paranormal activity in the form of EVP’s, unexplained noises and orb activity and possibly poltergeist activity. Our hope is to one day come back to investigate this home with more advanced equipment. This was our fourteenth investigation and it was a great success. We have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to be working with so many great individuals that have given us the chance to come into their homes and lives to try to help explain the reported activity on their property, businesses and homes. I feel honored to have had the success we’ve had and to be working alongside such a professional team.
