Black Diamond Paranormal Society (BDPS) would like to take this moment and thank all who helped, donated and gave so much to make this year’s Pocahontas Historical Haunted Walking Tours and the Halloween Monster Mash Costume Dance such an amazing success.

First off I would like to thank the Town of Pocahontas and its officials for giving us permission to conduct the tours and opening up the Pocahontas Opera House for the Halloween Monster Mash Costume Dance. The Historic Pocahontas Inc. for asking BDPS to help them raise awareness and fundraise for the beautiful historic buildings within the town.

A very special thank you goes out to all of our sponsors and donations from so many local businesses and individuals. Hollywood Actress Maritza Brikisak, Rodriguez Funeral Home, Town of Pocahontas, Interior Motives, D.C. Designs, Citizens Building Supply, Bunny’s Fine Clothing, Hearthside Books, Grants Supermarket of Bluefield, Gizmo’s, Super Cuts, Smart Style, Centre Stage Hair, Dudley Mortuary, Rudy’s of Bluefield, Leslie Ann’s, New Graham Pharmacy, Lowe’s of Bluefield, Applebee’s, Paper & More, Precision Golf, #1 Pawn, First Sentinel Bank of Tazewell, Hayes Drug, Ray’s Tack & Western Wear, R&S Graphics, Hurst Scott Funeral Home, Olde Virginia Pharmacy, Loose Change, J & R Gold, Lemon’s Jewelry, Ultimate Tan, Connie Cantrell Bellacinos, Labor of Love Mission, First Community Bank, Kimberly Shupe, Dollar Tree, McDonalds of Princeton, Godfather Pawn, Frances Sigmon and Cracker Barrel, and a special anonymous friend of BDPS. Thank you all for giving so much and helping put a smile on so many faces young and old. We could not have done this without the help of so many within our communities.

A shout out and a huge thanks go out to the bands along with vendors that came all the way down from Christiansburg VA, Honaker VA, and Tazewell VA to make everyone’s night so special with their amazing music, light show, food and photographs. I would like to point out some very special people within BDPS who worked tirelessly to make all of these events possible. Michele Crigger for her nonstop efforts to get the Opera House cleaned and also finding time to go out within the communities and ask for donations and sponsorships was amazing. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Robyn Dalton even with health issues was able to give so much of herself in working with Michele Crigger to make the events so memorable for everyone. Also to all the guys of BDPS. Jeff Dalton, David Belcher, Mike Brown, Dave Horn and Aaron Shortridge who were the muscle to help get everything placed along with mopping and cleaning. Pat Belcher BDPS Member and Officer of the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office for setting up a booth full of information and treats for everyone. BDPS videographer Olivia Compton, thank you for the great videos and photo’s you took during the Monster Mash Costume Dance. Our Halloween decorator Tabitha Horn and our new friend Amanda for helping with the tickets.

Thank you to all who came out and made these events so special to everyone. Without you all of this would not be possible. From all of us at Black Diamond Paranormal Society thank you and we are already working on next year’s events.
