From all of us at BDPS, we would like to give a huge thank you to the Buchanan County Public Library along with Sherry J. Bright, Teresa Matney, & Brian Shortridge for hosting the meet & greet with us last night. This was a part of the summer reading program for teens “Own the Night” and the adult summer reading program “Between the Covers”. We had an amazing time meeting and speaking to all who attended and appreciate everyone who took part in this event. Everyone had amazing questions and made the entire BDPS Team feel so welcomed.

I would also like to thank BDPS Team Members Matt O’Quin & Jerry Conner for stepping up and starting the event before the rest of the BDPS Team arrived, and all the BDPS Team that was able to make the journey to this event Aaron Shortridge, Mike Brown, Jason Kwun, Dave Horn & Michele Crigger. We were about 30 minutes late to the event due to an accident near Raven VA. I decided take a detour to make sure that all BDPS Members got to the event. We didn’t want to let anyone down and made the best effort to be there close to the start time. Everyone was so understanding and so patient with us and I appreciate it so much.
